Access to Sierra Resort Hotel Yuzawa

- It is 12 minutes from Echigo Yuzawa Station to Sierra Resort

Exit the Kanetsu Expressway at Yuzawa IC; it is 10 minutes on to Sierra Resort

- Studless snow tires, or chains are often necessary. In extreme conditions, restrictions are imposed and cars without proper equipment will not be allowed on the Kanetsu Expressway - Route 17 can become quite icy. General route to the parking lot is on heated asphalt surface. - Recommended routes on this map have the least weather related problems.

Cars may not be driven on the Iwappara ski slopes that surround the hotel. Please use 'free parking' only for the ski area.

- Bags may be left with the baggage service to the hotel by temporarily stopping at temporary area P6 'meeting and sending off'. Driver should then take the car to free parking areas P3~P5. There is then a shuttle to return drivers to area P6 where they can rejoin the others in their group and catch the Sierra Shuttle to the hotel.

- It is 5 minutes on foot from the P6 'meeting and sending' off area to the hotel.
